Barb, I love poppies. They're my favorite flower. I've been wanting to do a family picture in a poppy field for years, but the timing has to be perfect, and I haven't gotten around to it. someday.
I'm pretty sure I've BEEN to this place. If it's the Skagit Valley in northern Washington, then I've been there. Imagine this for miles and miles, every possible color, every possible variety. Some tulip farmers even do gigantic pictures with their tulips. Absolutely breathtaking.
That makes me think of Wizrd of Oz--I know they're not poppies, but still, it was the first thing to come to mind:)
