I'm so happy to have finally gotten to meet them face to face! I had a fabulous time, and I'm so glad I let you (all of you) talk me into going!
I drove down with Veronica. We met for the first time face to face when she came to pick me up, but we found we have a lot of mutual friends (besides our blogging buddies), and have a lot in common. I can see us being long-time friends.
I do wish I'd had more time to chat with everyone. There were so many people to see and talk to, I felt like there were some I would've like to talk to more. So, I'd be totally down for having another one. Soon. How about something further North, next time?
Here are some pics of the lovely ladies I met:
Kristina, Amber, Ariane, Melissa
Shauna & Me
Ariane (showing us how to pose to avoid the double chin), Melissa, Martha, Vanessa, Sheila & Tiburon (above)
(L-R) Me, Jeni, Susette, Annette, Kathy, Erin
Me, Kristina, Veronica, snuggling up in the "Snuggie"
Apparently, I don't know how to wear it, because it kept falling off.
Ladies, it was wonderful meeting all of you. I know I didn't get pictures of everyone, and I didn't get to chat with everyone, so hopefully, there will be a next time, but I'm so glad I went.
Mu-wah!!

So glad I got to meet you on Saturday. So much fun.
ReplyDeleteGlad you decided to go and that you had fun! (I think that Erin girl was in my student ward way back when...)
ReplyDeleteAvoiding the double chin is good. I wonder if she has any advice for avoiding the exploding-cheek effect. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat double chin!! I love all the shots from below, because then the double chin comes out in full force!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's the problem with the Snuggie. It FALLS OFF!!!!
How fun you guys. Totally loving all the different perspectives today.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute! (Said in a non-crazy, stalker sort of way) I wish I could have had more time to visit with you. I hope we can get together again soon!
ReplyDeleteIt was so sweet of you to stop by and visit at our table. I felt like a little kid meeting a celebrity. It was awesome meeting you and visiting. What a fun and delightful lady you are. It is so amazing how some of these people you meet can turn into eternal friendships.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had fun! And may I add, I'm pretty sure you would have to go out and RENT an extra chin to qualify as having a "double".
ReplyDeleteI so wish I could have been there! boo hoo!
ReplyDeleteIt was lots of fun and I look forward to lunch again sometime soon!
ReplyDelete♥ Hugs :)
I am SO sosososososo totally jealous!!! There should be one in St. George. I think I could maybe drive two hours to meet everyone there. How about it!!??
ReplyDeleteNext time, up north would be awesome! I hear there is a good chinese place up there in Bountiful. The Mandarin? mmmmmm chinese and bloggy friends, sounds like a de-light!
ReplyDeleteAgain, so happy to finally meet you!
It is kind of like speed dating. 40 new friends. That is awesome. M
ReplyDeleteHey! I look horrible in that one picture. I guess that's what happens when you're trying to look at four cameras at once!
ReplyDeleteFun to meet you!
I'm just a little jealous over here in Crazyland.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a BALL!
So fun! It is always good to get some new friends! And you look so darn cute in all of the pictures! Then again you always have been beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great time!
ReplyDeleteI don't like reading all these meet and greet posts...it makes me JEALOUS!
ReplyDeleteReally though, it looks like you all had a great time! Maybe I'll make it to the next one.
Hey I think my friend Jo was there too! You made a comment on my blog about comments... sometimes people just dont have anything to say! I read yours all the time I just dont comment every time, mostly because I dont have time or I just dont have a comment about it to add. Dont feel bad, just enjoy the ones you do get! =)
ReplyDeleteThat was fun for sure. I too felt like I just didn't get to visit with everyone like I wanted to. I felt (as I mentioned on Annettes blog) that I had just swiped my finger through the icing ---not really getting to devour that big beautiful cake!!
ReplyDeleteThat picture of you and Shauna is the best---I think it was the work of your PHOTOGRAPHER on that one.
I am so sad I couldn't be there, I would have loved to meet all of you.
ReplyDeleteOne of these days I'm actually going to make it to one of those blasted get-togethers. Great recap, thanks.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, I am jealous! I wanna be there too... someday!
ReplyDeleteHI Sher, About drinking water and yoga. I drink a big glass of water right before class and I had to go to the bathroom all class. I was so uncomfortable and was having a hard time focusing on yoga. OOPS! LOL m
ReplyDelete"You all look like you had an awful, terrible time and I'm glad I wasn't there!" said the fox, green with envy.
ReplyDeleteIt was SO fun! I had a fabulous time getting to know you. Thanks for trusting that I wasn't some psycho stalker! :)
ReplyDeleteThere were so many awesome women there that we barely got to say hello to all of them. I think we were the lucky ones because we got to visit all the way down and all the way back!
Anytime I think about Sat, it makes me smile! I had such a good time. Sarah and I are in the same ward now. She is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt was great to meet you too! Now I'll be stalking you :)
ReplyDeleteHow about farther south next time. Like AZ?
ReplyDeleteI had a great time meeting you too! I felt just like Suzanne...here I am surrounded by "celebrities" and there's just little old Tink with a bit of pixie dust to share! I'm all for another one. I think we need to do a monthly lunch--just not around that time of month, if you know what I mean :). You are just as, if not more, beautiful in person! Loved the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThis event looked like so much fun!
