Conversation with TJ.....
TJ: "Mom, you love me, huh?"
Me: "Of course, TJ, I love you sooo much!"
TJ: "And you liked me and KJ and Peter the best, so that's why you picked us out at the hospital to take us home, right?!"
Me: chuckling, "Yes, TJ, I liked you best out of all the babies at the hospital."
Today, I've had some of those rare, beautiful moments, when the rewards of Motherhood come back tenfold. There is something about spending time with my precious little monkeys that brings me absolute pure joy. I just love these kids more than words can express. My heart is brimming to overflow today.

oh that is so sweet! SHER I HAVE MISSED THE HECK out of ya!
I finally have time and have gotten my new schedule under the wraps! I am commenting again. I think I found a system.
THat is soooo sweet :) I love days like that. I know you are a good mom.... you can always tell from the things your children say :)
Kids are so cute and sometimes say the sweetest things.
Such a cutie!
That is where it is all at. Right there. Love it Sher. Give him a hug from me okay.
I had moments like that today, too. (I had the other kind of moments, as well, but I'll focus on the joyful ones.) Moments where they just come and hug you for no reason at all and say, "I love you, Mommy."
Thanks for journaling the good as well as the not-so-good. (What did you ever do about the Webkinz? Did you flush it?)
I'm so glad you had 'One of those days' in the positive sense. I love those rare occasions when the kids play together well and are sweet and loving. Savor it because that's the biggest reward Motherhood has.
Popping in from BSU. What a beautiful post. Thank you for reminding me why I love motherhood.
It is good to have those days--THANK GOODNESS FOR THOSE DAY--to carry us through the difficult ones when we tend to forget just how incredible they are.
It's days like this that makes all the really bad day's worth it. thanks for sharing.
Kids are pretty much the coolest kind of people.
It's the little people in our lives that keep us young.
Life would be a drag without our kids. Hard to imagine them not around to make us laugh, feel happy and validate us huh?
