Christmas spelling

Thanks to my overactive, over excited children, we decorated for Christmas over the weekend. Friday, we put up the new Christmas tree. KJ was so excited she was hounding me all day. I made the kids help me clean out the toy room first. We took 6 boxes of old toys (including all my baby toys) to the DI. It feels sooo good to clean stuff out.

Then we got out the Christmas crap and started decorating. I think the tree looks pretty good. Although, I'll be honest, it seems a little small compared to our mondo Griswald tree from last year. I'll learn to love it, I suppose. But, part of me wonders if I should've bought the 12 foot tree, instead.

KJ put up the nativity scene. I love this set. I can't remember what it's called...Olive Tree or something, but they are beautiful.

Sup.

I found these cute little blocks. And it's taken me a while to figure out what their supposed to spell. Can you help me figure it out?

What could this possible have to do with Christmas?

Or this?

Oh, I get it!

Your tree looks great! We got a real tree this year and I still need to decorate it. Nate and I decided to invest in a magic tree stand that does all the work for you. It was great we got our tree up in 5 minutes!

It's beautiful! Love it. And I had a good chuckle with your word play...but I had it pegged from the moment I saw them "Believe". Great choice of words. LIked your "Yo" too. Ha. I'm in the Christmas spirit, but I'm sooo sick with the cold flu, it will be a week before we put our Christmas decorations up.

I still can't decorate (my rule to self) and I'm not so sad about it yet...

So funny! Doesn't it feel so nice to get rid of stuff! I say that...but have a really hard time with parting with the kids stuff! I love the letters, I think thats why they come in blocks...to entertain for a few hours! Get your creative juices flowing for decorating! Looks great!

Jess-- what's a magic tree stand?

Tink--sorry you're sick. I hope you get better soon!

p.s. I just noticed one of the pictures shows the lovely chocolate drip stain on my wall. I hope nobody noticed. But, that is my reality. There are little evidences of my monkeys all over my house!

Those blocks were making me laugh. I have the same nativity as you. Love it. Willow Tree, although Olive Tree is close. Someone likes to mess with mine though. They think it's hilarious to move the figures around. I should blog all the ways I find them over the coming days.

funny stuff!! seriously. And maybe the OY is supposed to have a J in front of it? =D (I can't tell if you were being serious or funny. They really need to figure out a way to get tone of voice onto a keyboard.)

And I still love you music.
