KJ on the inversion thing-a-ma-jig
C got a new toy last week. Honestly, I just don't get it, but he is so excited!

I don't even know what it's called really. It's an inversion-hang-up-side-down-to-stretch-out-your-spine thingy.
He loves it. Apparently, you just lay on it, then lift your hands above your head and it turns you upside down. Then, you're supposed to just hang there. And it's supposed to stretch your spine, and your muscles.
TJ on the upside down dilly-wop.
Maybe I did it wrong, because I didn't feel any kind of stretching. I just felt like my head was going to explode, or maybe my eyes were going to pop out of their sockets.
And there's nothing like a bad photo of yourself to get motivated to lose weight. Seriously, this is embarrassing:

TOO funny, my hubby got one of these too a year or so ago... yeah, made my head feel like it was going to blow! MEN.
Funny you.
They really sell stuff like this?! I had no idea!
This reminds me of the "gravity boots" in the 80's. Same theory, hang upside down to stretch out your spine. We actually found it helpful in conceiving. You know, help those littl swimmers upstream!
LOL at Melissa's comment! I feel my head wanting to explode just looking at it. And I wish I looked as bad as you do.
I'm thinking you look pretty skinny hanging on that thing. You can scoot those bon-bons over my way if you need to.
Yeah, I think you look pretty fantastic too, but that thing looks a bit scary to me. I'd probably tangle myself up in it somehow.
This looks like something I'd love. I'm always feeling like I just need a good stretch. And that first pic of you really does look like your eyes are gonna pop out of your head!! =D But you can eat all the bonbons you want, girlie! No problem there.
I suspect the kids will get more use out of that than the adults! I can just see your boy charging his friends admission to go on a 'ride'.
I hope it works for your hubby.
My Mom has one of those expensive Ceragem beds and we love using that thing. It has heat and rollers that go up your spine. It hurts at first but by the end you're so relaxed. Love that thing.
My parents have one of these and love it.
I've heard that those things actually make people feel nauseous. Doesn't make me ever want to try it. However a lot of peole also say that doing a sit up (or trying like hell, but never quite making it up in my case) up-side down in one of those things is supposed to be the best for getting rid of the baby pooch (I wonder if it would work on a multi-baby pooch?
We have one too-My husband loves it. I use it sometimes. When you first start out you aren't supposed to go all the way upside down...You work to get to that point so your head doesn't feel like it's going to explode. :) (Added note: I went all the way upside down the first time too and my head and eyes felt the SAME way!) :)
My roommate in college has one of those contraptions! She'd stay on it for quite a while, too. We all thought it was kind of funny, I'm fairly sure I have a picture of me hanging on it.
