I really do have a life. Really. I just keep having thing I want to post today.
Five minutes ago, not one, but two of my children came to me crying because they both had stuck Perler beads up their noses, and they couldn't get them out. That is my two oldest children, by the way.
WHAT?!!
I started laughing so hard. I'm sorry, but that is freakin' hilarious!
I literally had to have them both snort the beads out of their noses.
I'm just glad we didn't have to take a trip to the ER to have them surgically removed.
I don't know why, but it reminds me of the episode of the Simpson's when Homer discovers that he has a crayon lodged in his brain from sticking it up his nose.
Children are SUCH a good source of entertainment.

I'm sorry! But, these kind of days are what blogging are MADE for!!!
My sisters kid actually put popcorn in his ear, and the paramedics (yes. the babysitter called the paramedics) wanted to transport him to the hospital... but they couldn't reach my sister. When she got home, she was SO mad at her son, she wouldn't let them take him. She got the vacuum cleaner and sucked the popcorn out with it!
He never did that again!
ps. I hope you have a better day tomorrow. maybe you need a night out with lots and lots of diet coke and good movie?? Let me know.
Hallelujah! I would LOVE a night out! But, alas, my work-a-holic hubby is out of town...again. But, as soon as I have a free night, if your down with it, then I'll take you up on that offer!
Wow, you handled that situation like a champ. Definitely a mother of three! I think I would have freaked out not knowing how to get it out. That is hilarious though. What is it with kids and stinking things up their nose; including their fingers?! Ha, ha!
That is so funny. Sometimes I wonder what our kids are thinking. That cracks me up!
You let me know when you want a girls night out... I am ALWAYS down with that!!
To answer your question regarding throwback thursday... I don't have a scanner either, and wouldn't know what to do with one if I did have one. (I think we did have one for a while, but I had no idea how to operate it!) I just took a digital photo of the old photos, then uploaded them to picnik.com and cropped them to LOOK like they were scanned. BUT, by doing it that way, I was able to sharpen the image up a lot, and get rid of the yellowness from how OLD they are! I am seriously addicted. Thats what I'm going to be doing this weekend... instead of being a good Mormon girl going to Stake Conference. (shh! don't tell! :>)--also my sister is here, so thats another reason to skip! Right??!)
That is so funny! I haven't quite had that experience, but Nicks sisters little girl stuck a barbie shoe up her nose and they had to go to the doctor to get it out! What is it with kids and their noses?
That is hillarious (did I spell that right?) I seriously was laughing out loud. I remember Jaydene saying Sam stuck a Christmas light in his ear once and couldn't get it out. But I think he as like 14 or something not 4. Thankfully, I haven't experienced that....yet.
Funny! And no picture?? Come on! My sister's son did the EXACT same thing and HAD to go to the ER to have it pulled out with some surgical instrument. Kids will be kids.
And by the way?? Girl's NIGHT out and DIET COKE?? That is like my absolute DREAM night. I'm dying to see "Baby Mama" and John is home this week so PLEASE call me and I am IN!
I didn't think anyone would want to be looking up my kids' noses so I didn't take a picture.
Ok, Let do it! Girl's night! How you do guys feel about doing it on a week night, though? My husband is usually MIA on the weekends (unless we go during the day on Saturday)
