Random 10 Friday

I'm running another half marathon tommorrow. I'm feeling a little ill-prepared. I have hit a complete mental wall as far as running goes...OK, maybe with everything else, too. (When was the last time I vacuumed? I don't remember) I don't know if it's nerves getting to me about the upcoming marathon, or just burn out.
Did I mention before that I'm training for the Ogden Marathon? Well...I am. I chose that one because it is rumored to be pretty easy. You start at the top of Ogden Canyon and just run down. I've heard it's pretty much downhill the whole way.
The marathon is in only 6 weeks. SIX WEEKS! Yikes!
On another note, I've completely fallen off the Isagenix bandwagon. After my little "episode" last weekend, I decided I would just kind of "cheat" my way through it. And I was doing pretty well until Wednesday, when I had a total relapse and ate probably 10 hershey's kisses. Then Thursday, we got pizza for dinner and I probably ate half of it. So much for self control.
Ok. This post is going to be totally random and full of different topics. Just now, while typing this post, I heard water running in the bathroom. So I went down there to check it out to discover Tyson, bare bottomed, standing over the toilet holding down the flusher, while water is flowing freely from the toilet bowl. He put a whole roll of toilet paper in after "taking care of business." HOLY CRAP! (no pun intended) Have you ever had to plunge the toilet while it's full of you know what? DISGUSTING! Not to mention the poop water flowing all over the bathroom floor and leaking out on the carpet in the hall! I had to rig up the thing-a-ma-jig (I don't know what it's called--I'm not a plumber) in the toilet tank to get the water to stop running while I plunged. Oh, by the way, this is probably the 6th, yeah, the 6TH time he has done this. Come on, give me a break, people!
I can tell by the way it's starting that is going to be a GRRREAT day! (read with complete sarcasm)

Okay so I am probably going to call you in a bout 30 seconds but I am going to typre this anyway because for some reason I always feel special when some one has commented on my blog and I hate when people don't comment. Speaking of comments as I was reading over your posts and others comments. I just have to say that I am so proud to call you my sis. Really you are touching other people by what you are writing. You have some depth and meaning to your posts. Mine are just dumb old 'this is what we did today'. Really I admire you and think you are totally awesome! Love ya sis!

I totally understand your relapse thing. Except you have way more self control than I do. I went off sugar this week, well on Monday I went off sugar. Yah, and I was back on sugar by Wednesday. Nate was eating homemade cookies, how could I not have one, two, three...cookies. I don't know if I'm capable of truly eating healthy? Maybe one day...

I am amazed with all your running! I was telling someone the other day I don't think I have ever ran more than 1 mile! Even in high school I cheated! Anyways I hate everything that has to do wiht the kids and the toilet, well except for when they get potty trained! Everything else grosses me out! Oh well it life huh!

Hey Sher, I need some good workout music. What do you listen to when you run?

I'm still working on a good running playlist. But anything with bass and a beat is good. I like old stuff...like Bon Jovi..and the Bicycle Race by Queen, The Race is On, by Sawyer Brown. Anything that gets me pumped up
